Our dungeon masters

Jane

Welcome to the realm of adventure, where Jane (she/her) reigns as your intrepid Dungeon Master!

Hailing from the City Of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, Jane brings decades of tabletop gaming experience to the table, with a particular passion for Dungeons & Dragons ignited in 2019.

Since then, she’s been consumed by the thrill of storytelling and guiding adventurers through fantastical worlds. She loves playing with beginners and keeps an open mind for players’ creativity. Her goal is to engage every player and cultivate a collaborative storytelling experience where everyone’s unique contributions enrich the tapestry of the adventure.

When not lost in the realms of imagination, she finds joy in immersing herself in the captivating narratives of nerdy TV shows, movies and various Dungeons & Dragons podcasts, eagerly consuming tales that transport her to distant galaxies and alternate realities.  But most of all she enjoys spending time with her beloved cats.

Geoff

Geoff (he/him) is an experienced DM having run campaigns and one-shot adventures since 2019. Geoff first started playing D&D in high school with 3rd edition, and picked it back up again in 2019. Geoff spends a lot of time home brewing creatures, adventures, and worlds for players to explore.

Geoff’s campaigns and adventures are a cinematic-inspired style and he believes that collaborative character role playing can be just as exciting as nearly escaping death from the clutches of that Loch who you pissed off by taking the last donut. His goal with players is for them to have fun and embrace the rule of cool.

When he’s not working or playing D&D, he enjoys reading and collecting comics, watching movies, and being an attentive Cat-Dad.

Ruth

Ruth (she/her) has been playing D&D since 3rd edition, with a brief foray into Pathfinder during the dark years of 4e.

Although occasionally accused of having “swallowed the rule book,” Ruth likes to use her rules mastery for good and not evil. She knows when to bend and stretch the rules and when to stick to them for the best story and most fun for everyone at the table. She has experience playing other tarps such as Call of Cthulhu and Dark Heresy, which enhances her understanding of what D&D does well and when it might be fun to borrow ideas from other systems.

Ruth’s goal as a DM is for the whole table to work together, have a great time, and feel accomplished – whether that means slaying a dragon together or turning on each other for epic PvP in an evil one-shot. Her favorite class is Wizard and you may just get inspiration for playing one.

When not playing D&D, Ruth can be found enjoying nature or playing with her friendly house-sized displaced beast.

Greg

A lifelong player and GM, Greg (he/him) started playing 3/3/5ed in high school after finding a Player’s Handbook on a mall bench. Greg has been regularly playing and running games since 2018. Spending hours finding new and fun ways the rules of Dungeons & Dragons interact with each other and experimenting with introducing new fun rules in his games.

Greg lives and dies by the number one rule – do what is fun. Whatever the campaign, Greg sums up his GMing style: D&D is not ‘player vs GM,’ rather, D&D ‘player vs the environment as presented by the GM.’ To Greg this means that we’re all here to be part of a story. To share our ideas and how they would interact with each other’s imagination. We all play these games to share what it is we have in our minds and be accepted by others.

Greg’s free time is taken up by playing MTG, cycling, cooking, and spending way too much time with his cats.
