ABOUT The Bell

Jane started The Broken Bell as a Dungeon Master's Guild to support DMs in both home games and public ones. Some see D&D as a way to rake in money after the industry boomed in 2020. Jane wanted to "turn the tables," as they say, and focus on the people running the games. Because without them, we wouldn't be here.

The popularity of tabletop role playing games has taken off in the past few years but some people don't know where to begin, or how to join. The Broken Bell wants to make it easy to learn how to play by being open to players of all experience levels and people that might not feel comfortable starting out in a "boy's club" atmosphere. We have a come-as-you-are style group. We'll teach you the basics if needed, or jump right in for more experienced players.

Our venues have food and drink (and plenty of 'em!) for a fun night out, with a date, a significant other, friends, or just yourself! We'll let you escape the stresses of daily life for a few hours and go on a real adventure. Our number one rule is BE NICE! Everyone's here to have a good time.

Remember: Happy DMs make gaming fun!

I had a great time. Definitely a relaxed experience and the dm was very accommodating to both seasoned and new players. It was the first one shot I’ve done in quite a while but refreshing to collaborate and beat the big boss

Had a wonderful time! I’m a pre-COVID D&Der who was looking to get back into it and seek other players in the community. Geoff was a wonderful DM and provided our table a fantastic time. Chaotic, super-fun, an inspired one-shot setting, and all at a very interesting venue. I can’t recommend Broken Bell enough for the ultimate ice-breaker, couples’ event, or just plain fun for the in-person TTRPG enjoyer. Thanks again!
